President's Corner

Greetings!

Welcome to the new MNABB year! We had a great fall conference this year in Duluth, and it was good to see some old and new faces. This last year was a flagship year as we awarded our first scholarship. This year, we will continue to support education through increased scholarship funding, as well as continue in our tradition of executing a great 2011 fall program in the metro area. Blood banking is a unique field: a crossroads where patient care, donor generosity, and quality laboratory practice meet. We highlight these aspects in our speakers and our mission as an organization. We thank all those who are members, who serve on the board, and who work in the field. We welcome all contributions to our organization, so please feel free to contact any board member with concerns, great ideas, and general comments.
