Organizational Relationship: Receives direction from the Association president and Board of Directors.
Position Overview: Assesses the educational needs of the Association membership and plans ways to meet those needs.
Term of Office: The President, upon being succeeded by the duly installed president-elect, shall become the immediate past-president. The past-president shall serve on the Board of Directors for a term of one year.

- Chairperson of the Nominating Committee.

- Selects a candidate and 1-2 alternatives for each available position.
- Contacts candidates, discusses position, and determines individuals willing to serve the organization in the designated capacity.
- Presents slate of candidates to Board of Directors and membership at the annual meeting.
