President's Corner

Welcome to the Minnesota Association of Blood Banks website. My name is Angela Engblom and I will be your president for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.

I congratulate Georgette Benidt on completing her year as President for the MnABB association. I thank her for her continued leadership and support.

This year, I would like to focus the MnABB board on finding ways to strengthen our membership, increase the awareness of this association, optimize the uses of our website, and increase the association’s Educational opportunities.

The MnABB Constitution PREAMBLE gives us our mission for the association.

Preamble

In order that we may encourage, promote, and render a high standard of service to our communities, our hospitals and those persons who need or will need blood and its components and to foster cooperation between agencies and individuals interested in blood banking, we have formed this association and adopted this constitution for the uses and purposes herein set forth.

Thank you in advance to each and every board member for your participation and support this year.
